Advocating for a Good Food System

Register here! Join us for a hands-on, interactive workshop about engaging in the local food system. Learn how to work with your community to advocate for a good food system for all. Alla Guelber (Meaningful Work Project) and Eliese Watson (Apiaries and Bees for Communities) will be sharing their experience as community activists and advocates in working through the many ways that community can be used to engage in, change and strengthen the local food system. After an introduction from Alla and Eliese you will have the opportunity to engage in a food systems issue with a leader from the community and work with them to understand what actions we can take to advocate for and build a good system for all.
