Environmental Market

Join us for our first Special Market of the season! We've got several workshops and hands-on activities planned for you on this day. Green Calgary will be here offering water education, Alternate Root YYC will be talking food waste and repurposing, and our very own Soiled: Gardens & Vermicompost and Living Soil Solutions will be doing workshops on foraging wild edibles and vermicomposting, respectively.

Workshops will begin anew every half hour on the hour, so you can make sure you catch the whole thing, or just pop in and see what you see! Once you've learned all you can at the workshops, test your knowledge on the scavenger hunt. Prizes will be awarded! Paul Millar will be taking the Sweet Beet Stage at 3 p.m., and special guest Carla Olive is on at 5 p.m.!
